Installation Notes
Mount the thermal actuator vertically above the valve or horizontally, not upside down below the valve. For cooling this is a must.
During cooling, condensation forms on the cold manifold and runs down. An actuator hanging below the valve collects it, the water gets inside and significantly shortens its service life. In heating-only use no condensation forms and the risk is low.
