Surge arrester for LAN networks

Protection of the control unit through the most common source of overvoltage - LAN connection.

During storms, high overvoltages are induced on the DSL connection, which can destroy not only the router and the control unit, but also the modules connected to it.

It is compatible with 10Base-T and 100Base-T Ethernet, using any type of cabling. 

The product is intended for installations where connected LAN end devices are inside buildings and no part of the cable passes outside buildings.

A special connection circuit also protects device against surges and against voltage increase on PoE power lines in any of the possible standards. Lines 4-5 and 7-8 are interconnected because LAN Base-100T uses them only to power PoE. The PoE transmitted through the protector can be up to 60W (compatible with HiPoE).

This surge arrester ensures the continuity of the shield FTP cable, but it is not connected to the earthing.
