Wiring

• Red wire to +24 V
• Green wire to any UI input of a TapHome module (24UI, Core UI, 2UI, 6UI/6OC…)

Mount the rain gauge horizontally (check with a spirit level) and leave free space underneath so the tipping mechanism can empty itself.

Automatic irrigation

In the TapHome app you enable the input as a pulse counter and add the Rain Gauge virtual device. You get rainfall statistics for the last 3 and 48 hours, which you can use as a limiting condition in the weekly schedule — after heavy rain the irrigation skips itself.
